The Carmel Art & Film Festival is committed to showcasing music. We will be announcing a concert series at venues across the Central Coast in the coming months, as well as details about our music café in the Carmel Plaza during the festival and art show. One of the highlights in 2009 was an incredible opening night concert featuring Griffin House on the Sunset Center stage. COMPOSER’S BRUNCH

Legendary Hollywood composer Alan Silvestri returns this year with an expanded presentation, showcasing the power of music in film. With a resume that includes “Forrest Gump,” “Romancing the Stone,” “Cast Away,” and “Polar Express,” he is one of the top movie composers working today, and he brings his expertise to the Carmel Art and Film stage once again this year.
