ARTIST PRINT

Los Angeles based street art phenomenon Mr. Brainwash created this year’s signature print exclusively for Carmel Art and Film. Printed on high-end paper, hand signed by the artist and with a thumbprint on the back, these lithographs are sure to become collectors’ items. They will be available, as supplies last, for sale before and during the festival.

ART AUCTION
October 3 – 10

This is a revenue sharing program to support artists and local nonprofits. The auction exhibition will be on display at festival headquarters at the Carmel Plaza, where everyone can view and bid.  This year the auction will benefit an innovative program at California State University, Monterey Bay. Film and music majors work with at-risk, underserved or incarcerated teens in Monterey County over a six-week period, introducing them to digital filmmaking. Beyond the obvious educational benefits, the program strives to offer these teens a productive tool for self-expression, and in an area devastated by gang crime, inspire these kids to choose a different path.
